ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
N.B: ALL ENTRY LEVEL COURSES HAVE A MAXIMUM OF ONLY FOUR STUDENTS PER INSTRUCTOR / COURSE
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the follow up course to the PADI Divemaster.
It is also the first portion of the IDC (Instructor Development Course), and can be completed in as little as three days, logistics and time permitting.
During this course, you will gain additional experience while continuing to learn the PADI System of diver education. PADI’s AI Course adds to your abilities as a dive professional, while giving you the necessary tools to finish the IDC in the OWSI (Open Water Scuba Instructor) program.
PADI AI’s give classroom and pool presentations and evaluate PADI Open Water Diver course surface skills (under indirect supervision of a PADI Instructor).
AI’s also teach some PADI Specialty courses, conduct PADI Discover Scuba experiences and can conduct PADI Seal Team Aqua missions. Required course materials are not included in the price but can be purchased through Sabre Scuba.
