Our scuba diving site in The Vobster Quay

Vobster Quay is an inland freshwater dive site that lies in the heart of the Somerset countryside. The site is spread over some 36 acres with the depth varying from 6 metres to 36 metres. Many attractions have been placed in the quay to make the whole experience more exciting.

These include a Hawker Siddley HS-748 aircraft donated by Exeter airport. The fuselage of the plane has been split into 3 sections with 2 sections being at 12 meters and one at 26 metres. In addition to this there is also a cabin cruiser and numerous other ‘bits and bobs’ for divers to explore. Changing facilities and hot food and drinks are also available at the site.

We use the site for all levels of Diver training from Open water diver to Instructor training. Over the years we have grown to become good friends with the staff and the ducks … at the site.
